I was recently introduced by Miss Abuan to this site called givesmehope. These stories make me cry hardout haha. It's tagline is "Like FML, but for optimists" These stories are uplifting, but let me tell you about my eternal hope; one that will never fade ...

Hope: Confidence in a future event ; to look forward (to) with desire and confidence ; to trust in the truth of a matter. (Thank you to my little mac dictionary ^^)
The image pretty much explains it, I thought that would have been a quote, but I googled it and can't find it anywhere, so ima use it for one of my future compositions :) A few years ago, before my walk with God began I was holding on to the hope that there was something better, something that could satisfy and not just satisfy temporarily; something deep within me longed for something that lasted for much longer than the "short thrills" that life had to offer, for there to be purpose and meaning in my life. I was hoping that there was a way to live and not just exist and continue on with the mundane. Just when I was beginning to lose hope, God became everything I could ever hope for and more. Gotta love God's timing ... well to be honest sometimes I don't and neither do others because we "want it and want it now", but that's how he teaches us patience and in the end we can look back and see just how perfect his timing was after all :) Putting my hope and trust in Him is hard, it's a daily struggle but I can't imagine it any other way now and I can't imagine putting my hope in anything/anyone else. Been there, done that ... doesn't work.
Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."
Isaiah 40:31 - "But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
1 Corinthians 13:13 - "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
